Homeless Group Swept Away by San Antonio Floodwaters

Several homeless individuals, estimated to be a group of five to six, were swept away by floodwaters in San Antonio, Texas, while living in a drainage tunnel.
The incident occurred early Monday, during heavy rainfall and flash floods across the city.
San Antonio firefighters responded to the scene, conducting a search by boat and entering the tunnel secured with ropes.
As of Monday morning, none of the individuals had been found and no active searches were taking place.
A separate incident saw a woman rescued after being swept away by floodwaters near Austin Highway.
