• The derby begins at 8 p.m. ET at Atlanta’s Truist Park and will air live on ESPN with streaming on ESPN+, the ESPN app and MLB.TV.
• Eight competitors—Matt Olson, Cal Raleigh, James Wood, Byron Buxton, Junior Caminero, Oneil Cruz, Jazz Chisholm Jr. and Brent Rooker—are set to face off under the revised bracket format.
• Each hitter gets three minutes or 40 pitches in the first round, then two minutes or 27 pitches in the semifinals and finals, with ties decided by a 60-second swing-off.
• Seattle catcher Cal Raleigh enters the contest leading MLB with 38 homers this season, while 2024 winner Teoscar Hernández and two-time champion Pete Alonso are absent.
• The event carries a $2.5 million prize pool under the CBA, awarding $1 million to the champion, $500,000 to the runner-up, $150,000 to each other participant and $100,000 for the longest homer.
