Holon to Build First U.S. Autonomous Shuttle Plant in Jacksonville After JTA Deal

The German company selected Jacksonville to host its first U.S. factory under a pact with the transit authority.

HOLON, an autonomous vehicle developer, participated in a signing ceremony Monday to formalize the construction of its first production facility in the U.S., which will be located on Jacksonville’s Northside.

  • Groundbreaking is planned for April 2026 at Eastport Industrial Park on Zoo Parkway, with commissioning targeted for the second half of 2027.
