Hollywood Stars and Acclaimed Filmmakers to Headline 2025 Glasgow Film Festival

The festival will feature 13 world premieres and appearances by Jessica Lange, Ed Harris, Tim Roth, and James McAvoy from February 26 to March 9.

The 2025 Glasgow Film Festival will showcase 13 world premieres, 66 UK premieres, and 12 Scottish premieres from 38 countries.
Tim Roth, alongside Japanese co-stars Kōki and Takehiro Hira, will attend the world premiere of the survival thriller 'Tornado,' which opens the festival on February 26.
Jessica Lange and Ed Harris will attend the UK premiere of 'Long Day’s Journey Into Night,' with Lange also hosting a career retrospective event on March 1.
James McAvoy will introduce a screening of his breakthrough role in 'The Last King of Scotland' and participate in a conversation event on March 2.
The festival will also feature premieres of documentaries like 'Hill,' about Formula One champion Damon Hill, and Scottish productions such as 'Fear' and 'On Falling.'
