Hollywood Scion Sam Haskell IV Charged with Gruesome Murder of Wife and Her Parents

Authorities Still Searching for Remains of Missing In-Laws as Haskell Held on $2 Million Bail

Sam Haskell IV, the Hollywood scion accused of killing his wife and her parents, was behaving erratically and 'paranoid' weeks before the gruesome discovery of his wife's dismembered torso in a dumpster.
Haskell is charged with the murder of his wife Mei Li and her parents, Yanxiang Wang and Gaoshan Li, who are still missing.
Authorities believe Haskell chopped up his wife in his home and then hired day laborers to dispose of three garbage bags full of the evidence, which prosecutors say weighed about 50 pounds each.
The workers returned the bags and their $500 payment after they opened them and saw their grizzly contents — not believing his claims that they were full of rocks.
Haskell is being held on $2 million bail. His three children are in the custody of his parents.
