Hollywood Producer Convicted of Murders and Serial Sexual Assaults

David Pearce found guilty in 2021 drug overdose deaths of two women and multiple sexual assault charges spanning over a decade.

David Pearce, 42, was convicted of murdering Christy Giles and Hilda Cabrales-Arzola after providing them with a fatal mix of drugs in November 2021.
The women were left outside Los Angeles hospitals hours after overdosing at Pearce's apartment; Giles was pronounced dead on arrival, and Cabrales-Arzola died after days on life support.
Pearce was also convicted on seven counts of sexual assault, with multiple women testifying that he lured them to his home under false pretenses and drugged them.
Prosecutors argued Pearce knowingly gave the women dangerous drugs to incapacitate them for sexual assault, while a co-defendant's trial on accessory charges ended in a mistrial.
Pearce faces sentencing in March, with both victims' families and his own estranged sister condemning his actions and calling for justice.
