Hollywood Actress Dalyce Curry, 95, Confirmed Dead in Los Angeles Wildfires

Dalyce Curry, a 95-year-old retired actress, was found dead in her Altadena home destroyed by the Eaton Fire, confirmed by the coroner on Sunday, January 12.
Curry, remembered for her appearances in films like 'The Blues Brothers,' 'The Ten Commandments,' and 'Lady Sings the Blues,' was affectionately called 'Momma D' by her family.
Her great-granddaughter, Dalyce Kelley, last saw Curry on January 7 after dropping her off at home following a hospital visit, unaware of the rapidly spreading fire.
The Eaton Fire, fueled by strong Santa Ana winds, has burned over 14,000 acres and is only partially contained, with high winds forecasted to worsen conditions.
The Los Angeles wildfires have claimed at least 25 lives, including former child actor Rory Sykes, and displaced nearly 200,000 residents.
