Holland Taylor Would Only Consider Working with Sarah Paulson in 'The Chalk Garden'

Despite their strong relationship, the couple prefers to keep their professional lives separate, with Taylor stating she doesn't like seeing couples working together.

Holland Taylor, during an interview at the 2024 Emmy Awards, stated she could never imagine working on a project with her longtime girlfriend, Sarah Paulson, as she doesn't like seeing couples working together.
Despite this, Taylor did mention she wouldn't be opposed to acting alongside Paulson in a 1955 play called 'The Chalk Garden', a murder mystery written by British playwright Enid Bagnold.
The couple, who have a 32-year age gap, began dating in December 2015 after meeting at a party nearly a decade earlier.
Paulson has previously addressed their age gap, stating that while it may seem unconventional to others, it doesn't matter to her as she didn't choose who she fell in love with.
Taylor has expressed surprise and gratitude for Paulson's commitment to their relationship, jokingly stating it's a 'mystery' why Paulson is still with her.
