Holbeach Jewellery Robbers Jailed for Seven Years and Four Months After Violent Raid

Investigators cite CCTV, bodycam footage, intelligence-led teamwork for the rapid A1 arrests.

  • Ints Dombrovskis, 45, and Hugo Ignats, 42, both from Barnsley, pleaded guilty to robbery and were each sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court on August 22 to seven years and four months.
  • The May 30 raid at LPG Jewellery and Collectables in Holbeach lasted about nine minutes and netted more than £50,000 in watches, rings and necklaces, plus a phone, a bank card and £15 cash.
  • CCTV shows the pair threatening a woman in her 20s, binding her wrists and ankles with duct tape and a bungee cord, wielding an axe and pretending to have a pistol while saying, “don’t move or I will kill you.”
  • The thieves fled in a silver Vauxhall Astra later found torched near the shop, were traced to a black Honda Civic 37 miles away, and were stopped at gunpoint by armed officers on the A1 near Nottingham.
