McIlroy and Rahm Struggle in First Round of DP World Tour Championship

Nicolai Hojgaard, Julien Guerrier, and Matthieu Pavon share the lead after the first round of the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, each carding a five-under round of 67.
Rory McIlroy, who has already clinched the Race to Dubai title, faltered with three bogeys in his final seven holes, finishing the day at one-under-par.
Jon Rahm, ranked number two in the world, also struggled, finishing the day at even par after two concluding bogeys.
Viktor Hovland, Tommy Fleetwood, and Robert MacIntyre are all tied for seventh place, two strokes off the lead.
Due to expected inclement weather, the second round will start from two tees.
