  • Michigan’s Department of Agriculture & Rural Development lab detected Listeria monocytogenes in Enoki mushrooms sold by Hofood99 at a Michigan store
  • Hofood99 recalled all 200-gram green-packaged Enoki mushrooms (UPC 6976532310051) distributed nationwide between January 11 and 31, 2025
  • The FDA confirms no illnesses or injuries have been linked to the recalled mushrooms as of early June
  • Consumers may destroy the product or return it to retailers for a full refund and can call Hofood99 at (917) 756-9833 with questions
  • Listeria monocytogenes can cause severe illness in older adults, young children, pregnant individuals and those with weakened immune systems
