Overview
- Hockey Canada extended invitations to 92 athletes—42 NHL players for the men’s program, 30 women and 20 Para hockey hopefuls—to participate in orientation camps from August 26–28 in Calgary
- Six stars—Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, Brayden Point and Sam Reinhart—are already locked into the men’s preliminary roster alongside goalies Jordan Binnington, Adin Hill and Sam Montembeault
- The three-day off-ice sessions will feature presentations, team-building activities, meetings and media opportunities to evaluate talent and foster cohesion across all three programs
