Overview

• The terminal closed at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, and is scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, for urgent track and interlocking work.
• Riders have free shuttle buses to Newport and Exchange Place, $3 NY Waterway ferry tickets with added trips, and cross-honoring on NJ Transit rail and the Hudson‑Bergen Light Rail.
• PATH is running supplemental service, including limited 33 St–World Trade Center trains Friday, 10‑minute Journal Square–33 St service all holiday weekend, and Newark–WTC every 20 minutes with extra JSQ–WTC trains.
• The repairs focus on the interlocking that governs train movements between tracks and platforms, with PATH aiming to restore peak headways to about eight minutes.
