- Between June 29 and July 1, at least 18 airports from Indore and Jabalpur to Patna received emails claiming bombs hidden in backpacks, signed by “Roadkill” and “Kyo.”
- Security forces including CISF, BDDS, ATS, local police and fire brigades evacuated terminals and conducted comprehensive sweeps at each threatened site.
- No explosives or suspicious materials were discovered during the exhaustive searches at any of the targeted airports.
- FIRs under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for criminal intimidation have been registered against unknown individuals.
- Cybercrime teams are tracing email headers from addresses such as [email protected] and [email protected] to determine if the threats form part of a coordinated campaign.
