Overview
- More than 300 school and institution inboxes in Delhi received a mass email around 6:08 a.m., with copies also sent to IGI Airport and other airports, signed by a sender calling itself 'Terrorizers111'.
- The email threatened that bombs were placed and warned of a 24-hour deadline, but Delhi Fire Services reported thorough checks at CRPF Public School, Sarvodaya Vidyalaya and other locations turned up nothing.
- At Delhi’s IGI Airport the threat was assessed as non-specific and operations continued unaffected as police opened cases and began forensic analysis of the messages.
- Jammu Airport conducted a full anti-sabotage drill after a private airline received the email and declared it a hoax; reports also cited Amritsar among airports named in the mailing.
- Mumbai’s Shivaji Park police received a bomb call for Dadar railway station that was later deemed a hoax, with a case registered and efforts underway to trace the caller.
