Hitman: World of Assassination will launch on PlayStation VR2 on March 27, offering VR support for the full trilogy including content from Hitman 1, 2, and 3.
The PSVR2 release features new VR-specific mechanics such as lock-picking, dual-wielding over 100 weapons, and multi-guard knockouts for enhanced gameplay creativity.
Players can experience 22 iconic locations, including fan-favorite missions like the Miami racetrack and the Paris fashion show, in 4K HDR with improved immersion and adaptive trigger support.
Existing owners of the base game on PS5 can upgrade to the VR version for $9.99, while new players can purchase Part One with VR access for $39.99.
The release follows a delay from its original December 2024 date, allowing IO Interactive to refine the game and add new features for an optimized VR experience.
