• The collision happened around 10:40 p.m. Saturday in the 5500 block of N. Central Avenue in Jefferson Park, police said.
• A black sedan traveling east on Catalpa ran a stop sign, struck the bus on the driver’s side, and fled the scene, according to police.
• The bus then hit a parked car and a fence before crashing into the side of a residence.
• The 46-year-old driver suffered a head laceration and was hospitalized in fair condition, and there were no passengers on board.
