Overview

• The collision occurred at approximately 12:10 pm on June 13 at the junction of Forster Street and Tower Square in Tunstall.
• A lorry struck a woman and her two young children before the driver fled the scene on foot.
• One baby was knocked out of his pram and taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital with injuries that are believed to be minor.
• Staffordshire Police and paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service cordoned off the area to carry out enquiries.
• Authorities have launched a hit-and-run investigation and are asking anyone with information to call 101 or Crimestoppers.
