Historic Auction of Princess Diana’s Wardrobe and Royal Artefacts Announced
Over 200 items, including record-setting pieces from Princess Diana and other royals, will be auctioned on June 26, 2025, following international exhibitions.
- Julien’s Auctions will host ‘Princess Diana’s Style & A Royal Collection’ at The Peninsula Beverly Hills on June 26, 2025, with bidding opening on May 20.
- The auction includes over 200 items, featuring iconic garments from Princess Diana and artefacts from royals such as Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
- Highlights include Princess Diana’s record-breaking 1985 Jacques Azagury gown, previously sold for $1.14 million, and a Bellville Sassoon floral day dress from 1989.
- The collection will be exhibited at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle and the Museum of Style Icons in Ireland before the auction, offering public access to these historic items.
- A portion of proceeds from the sale of Princess Diana’s items will benefit Muscular Dystrophy UK, continuing her legacy of philanthropy.
