Overview
- At least one CBSE-affiliated government senior secondary school will be opened in every assembly constituency in the first phase.
- The state will form a dedicated CBSE sub-cadre, with serving teachers given the option to opt in.
- Principals, teachers and non-teaching staff will be selected on merit, supported by performance-based monetary and non-monetary incentives.
- The designated campuses will operate as day-boarding institutions with a focus on nutrition, sports, arts, skilling, remedial teaching, counselling and career guidance.
- Additional posts will be created as required, with officials positioning the reform to better prepare students for national-level competitive examinations.
