Overview
- Himachal recorded 1,022.5 mm of rainfall from June 1 to September 30 against a normal 734.4 mm, marking the 15th-highest seasonal total in 125 years, according to IMD data.
- Authorities estimate more than ₹4,881 crore in losses, with 454 deaths, 498 injuries and 50 people still missing, and around 9,230 homes fully or partially damaged.
