Himachal Pradesh is still recovering from the impact of 30 hours of torrential rain between June 30 and July 1 that led to 10 cloudbursts, flash floods, and landslides.

  • The State Disaster Management Authority reports 85 deaths—54 from rain-related incidents and 31 from road accidents—with search operations ongoing for those still missing after late June cloudbursts
