Overview
- The Transport Department was authorized to permit conversion of 1,000 diesel and petrol taxis to electric vehicles with a 40% subsidy under the Rajiv Gandhi Swarozgar Yojna.
- The ground-mounted solar program was renamed Rajiv Gandhi Swarojgar Saur Urja Yojna with interest subsidies set at 5% in tribal areas and 4% in non-tribal areas for 100 kW to 2 MW projects.
