HiLux Tops October as Ranger Clings to Year-To-Date Lead in Tight Australian Sales Race

- Despite losing October, the Ford Ranger retained a 1,195-delivery year-to-date advantage over the HiLux, with 46,452 versus 45,257 units.
- Toyota was the top-selling brand in October with 19,726 deliveries, as Chinese marques GWM, BYD, MG and Chery all placed in the Top 10 with sharp gains led by BYD.
- Chinese-made vehicles accounted for 20.5% of the market, while electrified powertrains grew to 17.8% hybrids, 7.4% EVs and 4.7% plug-in hybrids year-on-year.
