Hillsborough Halts Flintstone House Sushi Pop-Up Over Zoning Issues

The high-end omakase experience at the iconic home is paused as the town enforces residential zoning laws.

Stoneage Omakase planned to offer a $230 per person, 15-course sushi tasting menu by Michelin-starred chef Masa Sasaki.
The pop-up was shut down due to zoning regulations prohibiting commercial activities in residential areas.
Hillsborough previously sued the home's owner, Florence Fang, over unpermitted decorations and modifications.
Reservations for the pop-up had opened but all pre-paid bookings will be refunded.
Stoneage Omakase is exploring alternative venues and plans to offer private catering in the meantime.
