Hilary Duff Launches Intimate Comeback Tour, Debuts “What Dreams Are Made Of” Live

The sold-out London opener previewed new tracks from her Feb. 20 album.

Overview

  • Duff kicked off her Small Rooms, Big Nerves run at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Jan. 19, her first live concert since 2015 and her first headlining shows in nearly 18 years.
  • She performed the Lizzie McGuire Movie anthem “What Dreams Are Made Of” live for the first time, a song she has said she previously could not sing on tour due to ownership constraints.
  • The 17-song set mixed catalog favorites with new material, including live debuts of “Weather for Tennis,” “We Don’t Talk,” and “Future Trippin’,” alongside recent singles “Mature” and “Roommates.”
  • The short, sold-out tour next stops in Toronto on Jan. 24 and Brooklyn on Jan. 27, followed by a six-show Las Vegas residency at the Venetian’s Voltaire on Feb. 13–15 and May 22–24.
  • Onstage highlights included re-creating her viral “With Love” dance with fans, as she builds toward the release of Luck … or Something on Feb. 20, co-produced with Matthew Koma and Brian Phillips; fans online are speculating that “We Don’t Talk” addresses a family rift.
