Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma Mark 6 Years With Playful Taco Bell Tribute

The Instagram exchange spotlights their collaborative marriage during Duff’s return to music with Koma’s help.

Overview

  • Matthew Koma celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary by posting an Instagram Story comparing married life to "eating Taco Bell in the late 90’s" and joking that doubters were limited to a lone online commenter.
  • Hilary Duff reposted the tribute and wrote, "It’s so hot being compared to Taco Bell. He always gets the assignment," after also sharing a "6 years into forever" montage.
  • Koma’s Stories included throwbacks from 2015, featuring a calendar entry for their first meeting and an email he wrote afterward that said, "I wanna get marriedb [sic]," which Duff playfully called "dork" behavior.
  • The pair met while working on Duff’s 2015 album, were linked in 2017, and married just before Christmas 2019; they share daughters Banks, Mae, and Townes, and Duff is also mom to son Luca from a previous marriage.
  • Duff’s music return is underway with November’s single "Mature," co-written with Koma and Madison Love, and a full album titled Luck … or Something scheduled for February 20, 2026.
