Overview

- The Met Office issued a yellow wind warning for the west coast, Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland, forecasting 60–70 mph gusts with some possibly topping 75 mph.
- Additional but smaller outages were reported around Lochinver, Lairg, Invershiel and Lochalsh.
