  • Environment Canada issued a rainfall warning for West Vancouver Island, with heavy downpours near Zeballos and Tahsis expected to ease overnight Sunday.
  • High streamflow advisories remain for Vancouver Island and the South Coast, including the Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast, with rapidly rising rivers, localized flooding, and possible washouts.
  • Forecasts call for roughly 40–70 mm across lowlands over four days and up to about 100 mm on west-facing Vancouver Island slopes as a follow-up system moves through Sunday into Monday.
  • The River Forecast Centre is maintaining advisories for the Kingcome and Wakeman rivers and has ended advisories for parts of the North and Central Coast, including areas around Bella Coola, Rivers Inlet, Stewart, Terrace, Prince Rupert, and Kitimat.
  • Environment and Climate Change Canada also posted a wind warning for eastern B.C., including the North and South Peace River regions, with strong gusts tapering later Saturday.
