Overview

• Barnstable police alerted troopers just before 11:30 a.m. after a Ford F-150 fled a two-car crash on Route 132.
• The truck headed west on Route 6 at about 90 mph, swerving through traffic and the breakdown lane, police said.
• Around 11:31 a.m., the pickup collided with another vehicle, after which troopers deployed stop sticks to end the pursuit.
• The driver, described as a man in his 20s, was transported with serious injuries to St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
• Police have not released the driver's name or possible charges, and no additional injuries were disclosed as the probe continues.
