Overview
- The recall began July 29 after High Noon discovered empty Celsius-branded cans had been shipped to its facility and filled with vodka seltzer.
- Two production lots are affected: High Noon Beach Variety 12-packs (UPC 0850000040065) and Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz Edition (UPC 8 8939200134 1).
- Mislabeling impacted shipments to distributors and retailers in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin between July 21 and 23.
- No illnesses have been reported to date, but consumers should check affected lot codes and return or dispose of any mistagged cans for a refund.
- High Noon and parent company E.&J. Gallo Winery are working with the FDA, retailers and distributors to manage retrieval and refunds of the mislabeled products.
