Suspected serial killer Rex Heuermann's lawyer, Michael Brown, defends his client's internet search history, which prosecutors claim includes violent pornography and information on known serial killers.
Heuermann is accused of killing four women, all found in the brush along Ocean Parkway in 2010.
Brown also questions the reliability of new DNA testing that prosecutors claim is major evidence against Heuermann.
Heuermann was under surveillance for a year and a half before his arrest in July 2023.
Heuermann has pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail, with his next court appearance scheduled for February 6.
