Herzog: Israel's Fight Against Hamas is a Fight for the Entire Universe

As the death toll in Gaza rises, the family of one-year-old hostage Kfir Bibas demands more government action.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog, speaking at the World Economic Forum, dismissed the global outcry for peace in Gaza, stating that Israelis have lost trust in the peace process due to glorification of terror by neighboring countries.
Herzog emphasized that Israel's fight against Hamas is a fight for the entire universe, warning that if Israel was not there, Europe and the United States would be next.
Herzog also ruled out any possibility of Hamas involvement in future peace negotiations, stating that Israel would have to negotiate with potential partners.
Israeli forces continue their operations in Gaza, with the death toll of Gaza residents since Oct. 7 rising to 24,448 and 61,504 injured.
The extended family and supporters of Kfir Bibas, a one-year-old hostage held by Hamas, gathered in Tel Aviv to mark his first birthday and demand the government work harder for a deal to free Kfir and the other hostages.
