Hertha BSC Prepares for St. Pauli Test Match During International Break

The Berlin club builds on a critical league victory while managing player absences due to international commitments.

Hertha BSC recently defeated Eintracht Braunschweig 5:1, moving to 14th place in the second division and six points clear of the relegation zone.
The team will face Bundesliga side FC St. Pauli in a test match on Wednesday, March 19, as part of their preparations during the international break.
Four Hertha players are currently representing their national teams, including Marton Dardai (Hungary), Ibrahim Maza (Algeria), Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson (Iceland), and Tjark Ernst (Germany U21).
Dardai and Thorsteinsson are competing in Nations League relegation matches, while Maza is playing in World Cup qualifiers and Ernst in U21 friendlies.
St. Pauli, Hertha's test match opponent, recently secured a 1:0 victory over TSG Hoffenheim and sits 15th in the Bundesliga standings.
