Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer confirmed Ilona Logvinova as its inaugural global chief AI officer.
In the role, she will set the firm’s AI strategy, oversee the responsible rollout of emerging technology across legal services, and work with practice groups worldwide.
Her start date is 5 November 2025.
Logvinova joins from Cleary Gottlieb, where she led practice innovation, with earlier posts at McKinsey Legal, McKinsey Digital, and Mastercard.
Global CEO Justin D’Agostino said the move focuses on delivering client value with strong oversight, aligning with the firm’s June 2025 merger relaunch and a broader shift toward senior AI leadership roles across the sector, including at the U.S. Department of Justice.
