• Helsing presented the CA-1 Europa design study at Grob Aircraft in Tussenhausen with Bavarian leaders Markus Söder and Hubert Aiwanger in attendance.
• The company says the concept was developed in three and a half months and targets serial readiness in about four years.
• Helsing plans a first flight in 2027 and reports the aircraft will operate near transonic speeds and penetrate defended airspace in large swarms.
• The jet is to be controlled by Helsing’s Centaur AI pilot, integrating sensors, self-protection and weapons for reconnaissance, strike and electronic warfare missions.
