Helsing to Acquire Blue Ocean to Accelerate AI-Enabled Undersea Gliders

Overview

  • The deal is structured as a members’ scheme of arrangement under Australian law and requires court, regulatory and shareholder approvals.
  • Helsing intends to integrate Blue Ocean’s hardware and manufacturing with its edge-AI stack, including the Lura acoustic model, to enhance detection, classification and wide-area surveillance.
