Hello Kitty Cafe Opens First Northern California Location at Westfield Valley Fair

A dedicated Bow Room serves afternoon tea followed by evening desserts in a pink-accented venue highlighting exclusive treats and collectibles.

Overview

  • During the grand opening weekend (July 11–13), Hello Kitty hosts meet-and-greet sessions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day with giveaways of free strawberry lemonade for the first 50 purchasers and keepsakes for the first 100.
  • The 2,300-square-foot space combines a grab-and-go counter, indoor and outdoor seating and a Bow Room that transitions from tea service to evening desserts.
  • Visitors can enjoy a rotating menu featuring mini donuts, Dole Whip soft serve, espresso drinks and Hello Kitty–shaped pastries.
  • The retail area offers exclusive Sanrio merchandise such as hoodies, T-shirts, bow-shaped water bottles, plush toys and enamel pins.
  • This permanent Bay Area cafe extends Sanrio’s Hello Kitty Cafe legacy from mobile pop-ups since 2014 and its 2016 Irvine Grand Cafe debut.
