Helldivers 2 Achieves Record-Breaking Sales and Player Engagement

The sequel to 2015's Helldivers, Helldivers 2, surpasses 8 million sales globally, becoming the highest-grossing game in the US and UK for February.

Helldivers 2, developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, topped the revenue charts on PC and PS5 in the US, UK, and Italy, and was the second highest-grossing game in several other European countries.
The game attracted a significant portion of players from other popular titles, with 35.5% of former Fortnite players and 31% of former Palworld players switching to Helldivers 2.
On Steam alone, Helldivers 2 peaked at over 450,000 concurrent players, maintaining its position as the top-grossing title on the platform for five consecutive weeks.
The game's success is reflected in its sales, crossing the 1 million mark within a week of launch and reaching an estimated total of over 8 million copies sold.
Despite challenges with social features and servers, Helldivers 2 continues to enjoy high player engagement, with nearly 130,000 players online during weekday mornings.
