• On June 7, emergency teams responded to separate drowning alerts at Nerga at 17:40 and Barra at 18:06 in Cangas
• Medical helicopters H3 061 from Santiago and Pesca 1 evacuated the woman from Nerga and the man from Barra to Álvaro Cunqueiro hospital in Vigo
• The woman was conscious upon evacuation after resuscitation on the beach, while the man was found unresponsive and remains under critical care
• Preliminary Local Police reports suggest the man’s collapse may have been caused by a heart attack with no apparent connection to the earlier incident
• The rapid response involved Servizo de Urxencias Sanitarias de Galicia-061, Gardacostas de Galicia, Guardia Civil, Policía Local de Cangas and Protección Civil
