Hegarty Endangers Lenker in 'Criminal Record' Episode

Questions arise as Hegarty intervenes in arrest of murder suspect's son.

In the latest episode of 'Criminal Record', a drive-by shooting leaves a child, Isaac Witlow, in a coma. The area is known to have 17 gangs.
Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty and Detective Sergeant June Lenker are on the case. Lenker is also secretly working with activist Sonya Singh to investigate the Errol Mathis murder.
Hegarty endangers Lenker's life by not alerting her to an armed suspect, Jason Reeve, who is involved in the drive-by shooting. Reeve is later caught and his weapon is confiscated.
Hegarty is revealed to have intervened in the arrest of Patrick Burrowes, son of a man he put away for murder, leading to questions about his motives.
The next episode of 'Criminal Record', titled 'Protected', is set to release on January 24th, 2024.
