Heavyweight boxing champ Usyk signs with Ukrainian soccer club for one season

Usyk, an undefeated heavyweight boxing champion, signed a one-year deal with Ukrainian club Polissya.
Usyk trained as a footballer before becoming a boxer and made a substitute appearance for Polissya previously.
Polissya earned promotion to the Ukrainian Premier League for the 2023-24 season.
It's unclear how much playing time Usyk will have with Polissya.
Usyk is scheduled to defend his heavyweight titles against Daniel Dubois on August 26th in Poland.
