Overview
- Crave and HBO Max announced five new season‑2 cast members via Instagram, naming Emily Hampshire as Vanessa, Edvin Ryding as Luca Haas, Robert Naylor as Wyatt Hayes, Priyanka as Tarek, and Sabrina Jalees as Farah Jalali.
- The casting follows earlier additions of Charlie Gillespie and Justice Smith and confirms returns from Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, expanding a mix of established and emerging performers.
- Crave is producing the series for its Canadian service while HBO Max will carry the show in multiple international markets, including Germany.
- Both services list a spring 2027 release window but have not clarified whether episodes will premiere at the same time in Canada and abroad.
- Heated Rivalry is based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels, and the wider HBO Max distribution could broaden the show’s international audience and influence scheduling and marketing ahead of the planned launch.
