• Netflix confirmed that cameras began rolling in June 2025 in the UK and shared a first-look photo of Kit Connor, Joe Locke and Alice Oseman on set.
• The feature will draw from Oseman’s forthcoming sixth Heartstopper graphic novel and incorporate elements from the Nick and Charlie novella.
• Alice Oseman wrote the screenplay and will executive produce alongside leads Kit Connor and Joe Locke.
• Wash Westmoreland, director of Still Alice, is at the helm to give the finale an elevated, cinematic tone.
• The movie will follow Nick and Charlie as they face university, long-distance challenges and personal growth ahead of a planned 2026 release.
