• The crash occurred Friday at 4:38 p.m. on California Highway 121 north of California Highway 37 near Sonoma Raceway.
• Witnesses said the southbound 2024 Toyota Venza crossed double-yellow lines and struck a northbound 2011 Lexus RX450 head-on.
• The Toyota driver, a man, was pronounced dead at a Napa hospital at 5:36 p.m.
• The Lexus driver and her two children, ages 15 and 11, suffered major injuries and only one child was wearing a seatbelt.
• Emergency responders transported the mother by ground ambulance to a Napa hospital and airlifted the children to Oakland Children’s Hospital.
