Overview

  • HD Hyundai Heavy Industries secured the contract on August 6 to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul work on the USNS Alan Shepard, a Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo vessel
  • Overhaul operations—including propeller cleaning, tank maintenance and equipment inspections—will be carried out at HD Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in Ulsan, with delivery slated for November 2025
