• HBO Max ordered a full first season of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe on July 9 as its inaugural series commitment since renaming from Max.
• The show follows comic book shop owner Stuart Bloom as he attempts to restore reality after breaking a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, unleashing a multiverse Armageddon.
• Kevin Sussman headlines with Lauren Lapkus as Denise, Brian Posehn as Bert and John Ross Bowie as Barry Kripke reprising their Big Bang Theory roles.
• Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Zak Penn executive produce the spin-off, which is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.
• Extensive CGI and special effects will set the series apart from previous sitcom-style entries in the Big Bang Theory franchise.
