- Principal photography began in July at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, launching a planned ten-year production to adapt each of Rowling’s seven novels into its own season.
- HBO released the first official images showing Dominic McLaughlin as an eleven-year-old Harry Potter clad in Gryffindor uniform, alongside Arabella Stanton’s Hermione and Alastair Stout’s Ron.
- Showrunner Francesca Gardiner and director Mark Mylod are leading the creative team with J.K. Rowling serving as an executive producer.
- The cast also features Nick Frost as Hagrid, John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall, and Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape.
