Overview

• HBO officially ordered the six-episode sketch series on July 10 with Larry David set to co-write, star and executive produce.
• Jeff Schaffer will co-write and direct all episodes, reuniting him with David following their Curb Your Enthusiasm partnership.
• Barack and Michelle Obama will executive produce through their Higher Ground Productions alongside David, Schaffer, Vinnie Malhotra and Ethan Lewis.
• The show will feature a blend of Curb Your Enthusiasm alumni and other noteworthy guest stars in satirical vignettes highlighting overlooked moments from U.S. history.
• Slated for a 2026 release to coincide with the Semiquincentennial, the series does not yet have a premiere date.
