Hayward Police Arrest Suspect on Attempted Murder Counts After Exchange of Gunfire

  • Officers arrested 40-year-old Jaime Mejia Lopez, who was treated for a minor thumb injury and booked into Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on three attempted murder counts and unlawful firearm possession; he is held without bail with arraignment set for Friday.
